Another major outcome of the project was the 3DPAST app for IOS and Android devices, with content emerging from the project activities, following a similar structure to the one of the project’s platform. The app content is focused on short texts with illustrated images from specific interesting points of the eight selected World Heritage sites. The app has some of the sites enriched with Augmented Reality experiences.
3DPAST app starts with a welcome screen and relevant highlights, followed by framework information regarding the project focus, its objectives and the location and content of the selected World Heritage sites. There are also interconnections between 3DPAST app and the book “From Vernacular to World Heritage”. The “About” section displayed the 3DPAST app technical details, as well as information and links to the project partnership and platform.
